Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup Chana Daal
  2. 1 cup urad daal
  3. 3 Green chilli
  4. 10 Garlic cloves
  5. 1 tsp fennel powder
  6. salt as per taste
  7. 1/2 tsp hing
  8. For tadka---
  9. 2 tbsp Oil
  10. 10 curry leaves
  11. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  12. Pinch of hing
  13. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  14. 1 tsp amchur powder
  15. 1 lemon Juice
  16. Coriander leaves
  17. 2 tsp seasme seeds
  18. Normal phulka dough

Instructions

  1. Soak lentils at night
  2. Grind both daals garlic and green chillies
  3. Add salt and hing
  4. Add fennel powder also
  5. Now take a ball of dough and roll it like puri
  6. Put daal in half portion
  7. And cover with remaining half just like gujiya
  8. Seal it make all gujiya like that
  9. Now heat water in kadhai add 1 tsp oil
  10. Add all gujiya in water and let them cook for 15 min.
  11. Drain water from them by sieve them
  12. Cut them in four parts
  13. Now for tadka heat oil in pan
  14. Add rai, hing and curry leaves
  15. Add phare and fry them by stirring carefully
  16. Add red chilli,amchur and lemon juice
  17. Garnish with coriander leaves
  18. Sprinkle sesame seeds
  19. Serve hot
