Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For making Bajji
  2. Bajji Milagai / Green Chillies 8 to 10
  3. Gram flour 1 cup
  4. Rice flour or Corn flour 3 table spoons
  5. Asafoetida powder 1/4 tea spoon
  6. Ajwain 1/4 tea spoon
  7. Salt to taste
  8. For filling
  9. Pressure cooked and peeled potatoes 3
  10. Grated ginger 1 tea spoon
  11. Roasted cumin powder 1/2 tea spoon
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Red chilli powder 1/4 tea spoon
  14. Chopped coriander leaves
  15. Lemon juice 2 tea spoons

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add all the ingredients given for filling and mix well with hand and keep aside.
  2. Make a slit in the middle of the chilli and scoop out the seeds.
  3. With a spoon stuff the chilli with the allo mix and bring the edges closer and keep aside.
  4. Repeat it for all the chillies.
  5. In a bowl add the flours, salt, asafoetida, ajwain with water and bring it to thick batter like idli batter
  6. Heat a pan with oil
  7. Dip the stuffed chillies in the batter and deep fry.
