It is very tasty dish that can be served as a main dish with plain rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Boal fish 3 pieces
  2. Tomatoes 2
  3. Turmeric 2tspn
  4. Cumin powder 1tspn
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Water 1cup
  7. Coconut milk 1/2cup
  8. Onion chopped 2
  9. Garlic 4 cloves crushed
  10. White mustard seed 2 tblspn (paste)
  11. Oil 4 tbl spn
  12. Green chilli 2 slit.
  13. Coriander leaf finely chopped 1tbl spn.

Instructions

  1. First wash 3 fish pieces and coat with 1tspn turmeric and salt.
  2. Heat 2tbl spn oil in kadhai.
  3. Now fry the fish till light golden colour and keep aside.
  4. Heat 2 tbl spn oil in a wok.
  5. Add onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and salt and saute for another 3 minutes.
  7. Now add all spices red chillli 1tspn, turmeric 1tspn,Cumin 1tspn,mastered seeds paste 2 tbl spn and tomatoes.
  8. Saute well and continuously stir it till tomatoes get tender.
  9. Then add water 1cup and add fish to it.
  10. Now cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes in high flame.
  11. After 5 minutes add coconut milk and cook fot 10 minutes.
  12. Now add green chilli and coriander leaf and cook for 5 minutes the remove from gas.
  13. Now it is ready to serve.
