ABOUT Dry garlic and coconut chutney RECIPE

This spicy dry chutney made from garlic and dry coconut and sesame seeds is one of my comfort foods which is always there in my pantry.This perks up the taste of simplest meals and can be eaten with wadapaav,parathas,daalrice,khichdi etc.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Garlic-1/4 cup
  2. Dry coconut-1/2 cup
  3. Sesame seeds-2 tbsp
  4. Peanuts-1 tbsp
  5. Red chilli powder-3 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Dry roast garlic in a pan till slightly brown.
  2. Roast dry coconut slices also till they become sliggtly brown.Roast on slow flame.
  3. Dry roast peanuts also.
  4. Roast sesame seeds too on slow flame.
  5. Remove all roasted ingredients in a plate and allow to cool.
  6. Then grind everything in mixer by pulsing.Do not run the mixer continuously.The chutney should be coarse in texture.
  7. Remove in a plate or bowl and mix salt.
  8. Fill in airtight bottle and enjoy with all your meals.Best enjoyed with wada paav:-)
