Ingredients Serving: 9

  1. Grated coconut from 1 coconut
  2. Whole Garlic pods 2-3
  3. Kashmiri red chillies 9
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Tamarind - little

Instructions

  1. Take a kadai. Add very little oil and fry grated coconut till golden brown in a low flame. Keep aside.
  2. Roast peeled garlic cloves till golden brown in the same kadai. Add little oil to prevent charring. Keep it aside.
  3. Now add little oil and fry red chillies fill crisp.
  4. Cool everything and add to a mixer together and grind it to a fine powder.
  5. Store in an airtight container.
  6. Note: You need not keep this chutney in the refrigerator. It stays good for one month if clean dry spoon is used.
