Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Radish/mooli - 2
  2. Radish leaves - 4 mooli leaves
  3. Green moong dal - 2 tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Garlic clove - 7 - 8
  7. Asafoetida - a pinch
  8. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Mustard oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and finely chop the mooli leaves and mooli
  2. Heat pan and add the mooli leaves
  3. Now add green moong dal and mooli pieces
  4. Add red chilly powder and cover the pan for 20 mins in a low flame.
  5. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well.
  6. Add one cup of water and cover it and cook for ten mins in a low flame
  7. Heat oil in another pan.
  8. Add asafoetida,cumin seeds and garlic cloves and fry till golden brown.
  9. Add mooli bhurji in it and cook for five mins.
  10. Serve hot.
