ABOUT Missa lacha Parantha. RECIPE

This is again a traditional punjabi breakfast made with various flour and onion, served with some pickle or curd on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 cup wheat flour
  2. 2 cup besan
  3. 2 chopped onion
  4. 2 chopped green chillies
  5. Salt
  6. 1/4 tsp ground coriander seeds
  7. 1/4 tsp ground pomegranate seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
  9. Butter [as required]

Instructions

  1. Take the wheat flour and besan in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add rest of the ingredients except the butter , and knead a semi soft dough using required amount of water.
  3. Rest for few minutes.
  4. Now make lacha parathas, roast them on a hot tawa.
  5. Cook on all the sides with little oil. Serve hot with a dollop of butter on top.
