Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 5-6medium size bittergourd
  2. Turmeric powder 1tablespoon
  3. Chilly powder as per test
  4. Coriander powder 3tablespoon
  5. Rosted groundnut powder 3tablespoon
  6. Jeera powder 1 tablespoon
  7. Green chopped coriander leaves 1 and1/2 cup
  8. Fresh curd 2 tablespoon
  9. Imli ki mitthi chutney. 1 tablespoon
  10. Suger 1 teaspoon
  11. Salt as per test
  12. Fenel seeds for tadaka
  13. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Rines and peel the karela
  2. Mix all the dry spices except curd and imli chatuney and also mix chopped coriander leaves.
  3. Stuff this masala in karela. Tie the thread tightly around each karela.
  4. Heat the oil and fry the karela with fennel seeds. Cover the lid on low flame.
  5. When it gets well cooked pour curd and imli chatni into it, mix the mixture well and cover the lid for 5 mins on low flame
  6. While serving remove the thread and serve with rotis.
