Bhindi baji is something which is very easy to make and can be served with rotis or some dal rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Lady finger/bhindi - 250 gms
  2. Sliced onion - 1
  3. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  4. Whole ted chilly - 1
  5. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash bhindi properly
  2. Cut the edges of the bhindi on both sides.
  3. Now cut in small pieces.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Add whole red chilly and fenugreek seeds to crackle
  6. Add bhindi and stir fry in medium flame,
  7. Add turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  8. When bhindi is half done add sliced onion and m ix well
  9. Cover it and cook till the bhindi are soft and color of the onion is change
  10. Serve the bhindi bhaji hot with chapatis or rice
