Bitter gourds are very healthy and beneficial especially for the diabetic patients, so use these to make a delicious breakfast for everyone.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm bitter gourd
  2. Salt
  3. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  4. Green chillies - [2]
  5. oil
  6. Onion [chopped] - 1

Instructions

  1. Peel the bitter gourds, and separate the peels. Now sprinkle some salt on the peels, mix and keep aside.
  2. Leave them aside for 10 minutes. The peels will leave out the excess water after this.
  3. Now wash them and squeeze out the extra water.
  4. Add chopped onion, chopped green chillies to the peels. Meanwhile knead a soft dough using the wheat flour, salt and water.
  5. Now divide the dough into equal sized balls and stuff each ball with the bitter gourd filling, reshape them and roll out the parathas.
  6. Now roast the parathas well on the tawa using some oil. Serve with some curd.
