ABOUT Tandoori Chicken On Gas Stove Without Oven RECIPE

Tandoori Chicken is always a great starter for any small or big gatherings. Because it is super delicious, juicy and can rock your taste buds. It may not always be affordable to bring from restaurant and you also want to impress your guests with your culinary skills. First i’m gonna marinade the chicken with simple yogurt and masala mix, then cook in a cooker and finally grill it straight on the flame to bring that traditional tandoori flavor. Isn’t it easy?

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1st marinade: Thigh and leg chicken piece (1 kg)
  2. Salt as required
  3. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  4. 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  5. 2nd marinade: 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  6. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 2-3 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
  8. 1 tsp cumin powder
  9. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  10. 1 tsp garm masala
  11. 2 tbsp Kasuri methi
  12. Pinch of pepper
  13. Oil 3 tbsp
  14. butter
  15. Tandoori color a pinch

Instructions

  1. Mix the chicken with 1st marinate -apply the mix into all the cuts long-side.
  2. After 15-20 minute, mix the ingredients under 2nd marinate and put onto the chicken. Let it rest for one hour.
  3. Put 2 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker then add the marinated chicken pieces, cover and cook for 2 whistles on low flame.
  4. Cook it on low flame for more five minutes.
  5. Open the lid and roast straight on the flame and apply butter.
  6. Tandoori Chicken is ready.
  7. Serve with Onion rings or Radish, green chutney, lime wedges and chaat masala.
