Delicious paneer stuffed pasties, with a boozy coating, apt for any occasion

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Outer covering-
  2. Maida - 1 cup
  3. Vodka - 1.5 tbsp
  4. Vinegar - 1 tsp
  5. Butter - 1 tbsp
  6. For the Filling-
  7. Grated paneer - 1.5 cup
  8. Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  9. Chopped onion - 1
  10. Oregano - 1 tsp
  11. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  12. Ground pepper - 1.5 tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Chopped spring onion - 1/2 cup
  15. Cream cheese - 2 tbsp
  16. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok with some oil, add the chopped garlic followed by chopped onion.
  2. Saute till translucent, then add the grated paneer and the powdered masalas, salt.
  3. Sauce and then finally add the chopped spring onions. Cool it.
  4. Now to make the dough, mix all the ingredients mentioned under "dough" and a little water to make a soft dough.
  5. Take small parts of the dough and roll it. Using the knife, make a rectangular shape out of it.
  6. Take one rectangle, put a dollop of paneer mixture, top it with little cream cheese.
  7. Apply some water on the edges and seal them and make the mark using a fork.
  8. Fry them in medium hot oil. Serve.
