ABOUT MALAYSIAN NASI PLATTER RECIPE

shrimp rice,chicken satay and fried eggs

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. chilli oil
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1 tbps dark soy sauce
  4. 2 tbps chopped kafir lime leaves
  5. 2 tbps lemon grass chopped
  6. 1/2 tbsp galangal or ginger chopped
  7. 1/4 cup shrimp paste
  8. 1/2 cup poached shrimps
  9. 2 cups cooked rice
  10. penut butter 1/4 cup
  11. dark soy 2 tbsps
  12. 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  13. 2 breasts chicken strips
  14. salt and pepper
  15. 1 tbps of ginger chopped
  16. 1/4 cup of chopped onions

Instructions

  1. marinate the chicken in salt pepper and a mix of peanut butter , soy sauce and chilly powder
  2. heat a wok, with chilly oil, garlic, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and lemon grass, cook for 30 seconds, now add the shrimp paste , salt and pepper cook for a minuit
  3. while thats cooking , heat a pan with oil, cook chicken each side 2 mins
  4. in the wok, add rice and soy sauce , stir in the prawns , remove from heat
  5. top the rice with fried eggs and chicken satay
