ABOUT GREEN DAL CHILLA RECIPE

A healthy and nutrient breakfast pancake or chilla recipe made with green moong dal. It can be served as it is without any sides but tastes great with green chutney or any gravy based curry. So start your morning off right with these healthy and delicious green dal chilla. Do give it a try!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1. Green moong dal  -  2 cup (soaked overnight)
  2. 2. Greenchilly  - 1 chopped
  3. 3. Ginger  - 1 small inch chopped
  4. 4. Pepper powder a pinch
  5. 5. Salt to taste
  6. 6. Few Curry leaves
  7. 7. Water
  8. 8. Onion  - 1/4 cup chopped
  9. 9. Oil  to drizzle

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add soaked green moong dal, ginger, Greenchilli, salt, curry leaves pepper powder and some water.
  2. Grind it to a smooth paste by adding water and transfer it to a bowl.
  3. To this add chopped onions and mix well.
  4. Heat a non stick pan. Pour a ladle of batter on it and spread into medium thick disc.
  5. Drizzle some oil on top. Flip it and cook for a minutes. Fold it and serve hot !
