Prepared with green peas, green moong dal split, spinach puree and green chillies

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup raw peas
  2. 1 cup spinach puree
  3. 1 cup split moong dal
  4. 3 green chilies
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Rice flour, suji or besan (or combined) - 1 cup
  7. Oil or ghee as required - to drizzle

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak dal for 2-3 hours. Drain excess water.
  2. Grind all ingredients except oil to form smooth paste. Add adequate water to form smooth free flowing batter
  3. Heat a non stick tawa, spread a ladle of batter evenly over tawa. Drizzle little ghee on top and edges, cook until golden brown at edges. Flip and cook other side for 2-3 minutes
  4. Serve hot with chutney
