ABOUT Besan methi parantha RECIPE

A lovely combo of gram flour and wheat flour with methi to make tasty paranthas for everyday breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3/4 cup wheat flour
  2. 3/4 cup gram flour/ besan
  3. 1/2 cup methi
  4. 1 onion
  5. 1 tbsp fresh malai/ cream
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. 1 tsp carrom seeds
  8. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  9. Water,as required
  10. Ghee/ oil ,as required

Instructions

  1. Take both the flours ,salt and all dry spices in a bowl.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and methi leaves.
  3. Add Malai and make a dough with water.
  4. Take small balls of dough and make paranthas.
  5. Heat the tawa and shallow fry the paranthas on both side till brown.
  6. Serve hot with butter.
