Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onion : 1 big chopped finely
  2. Tomato : 1 big chopped finely
  3. Ginger & garlic paste : 2 spoons
  4. Vegetables ( beans,carrot,green peas) : 1 cup
  5. Mint leaves : 1 cup
  6. Cinnamon,cloves,cardamom : 2pieces each
  7. Rava/sooji : 2 glass roasted ( for 4 members)
  8. Water : 4 glass for rava ,1glass to boil vegetables
  9. Turmeric powder :1 pinch
  10. Oil : 3tablespoons
  11. Ghee:2 tsp
  12. salt: as required

Instructions

  1. Chop all the vegetables and keep it aside
  2. Heat oil /ghee in a pan and fry cinnamon,cardamom and cloves. Add ginger & garlic paste and Saute till raw smell comes out. Add onions till light brown and  fry tomato for 3 mins .
  3. Add vegetables,little turmeric powder salt and add water 5 glasses.
  4. Boil vegetables for 5mins and while adding rava slowly stir it continuously or else rava will become like balls .
  5. once it is done add mint leaves for garnishing.
  6. Suitable dish for festivals and this goes well with chutney and sambar
