Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Masoor dal
  2. half onion finely chopped
  3. Mix masala 1 tspn
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Pinch of turmeric powder
  6. 3 -4 tbspn coconut grated
  7. Few corriander leaves
  8. 1 potato chopped thick

Instructions

  1. Firstly in a pressure cooker add masoor dal and potato
  2. Add onion,mix masala,salt,turmeric
  3. Add 1 and 1/2 cup water,mix all the ingredients well
  4. Close the pressure cooker for 3 whistles
  5. Meantime grind the coconut grated with few Corriander leaves and little water
  6. Once the pressure cooker is cooled.keep the gas on low flame
  7. Add the grinded coconut paste and stir well
  8. Once it starts boiling add few chopped corriander leaves and turn off the flame
