ABOUT Masoor Dal Pakora RECIPE

It is a Banarasi style pakora.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Masoor dal- 250 gms (soaked for 5 hrs)
  2. Onion (sliced)- 4 to 5
  3. Green chilli- 8 to 10
  4. Salt (according to taste)
  5. Red chilli powder (according to taste)
  6. Garlic cloves 5 to 6
  7. Coriander leaves (optional)
  8. Chaat masala (optional)
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Grind masoor dal with garlic, green chillies and coriander leaves.
  2. Then add sliced onions to the paste.
  3. Add salt and red chilli powder according to taste.
  4. Now prepare Pakoda and serve with sauce or chutney.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves or chaat masala and serve hot
