Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. French Beans chopped 100 gms
  2. Foxtail millet 1 cup
  3. Toor dal 1 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Water 1 ltr
  6. Bisibele bhath powder 10 gms
  7. Tamarind syrup 1 tsp
  8. Ghee 2 tsp
  9. Fresh green peas 1 cup
  10. Cooking oil 3 tsp
  11. Garlic cloves 8-10
  12. Groundnut few
  13. Cashews few
  14. Chopped onion 1 cup
  15. Turmeric powder a pinch
  16. Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  17. Sev 1 cup for top

Instructions

  1. TAKE FOXTAIL MILLET AND TOOR DAL, WASH CLEANLY
  2. ADD WATER AND SALT
  3. ADD BISIBELE BHATH POWDER AND FRENCH BEANS
  4. MIX WELL
  5. ADD TAMARIND SYRUP AND CLOSE THE LID AND COOK
  6. COOK FOR 3-4 WHISTLES
  7. HEAT OIL AND FRY GARLIC
  8. ADD CASHEWS AND GROUNDNUT, FRY
  9. ADD ONION AND FRESH GREEN PEAS, SAUTE TILL TENDER
  10. TURMERIC POWDER
  11. ADD COOKED MIXTURE
  12. ADD GHEE, SOME WATER AND MIX WELL
  13. ADD COCONUT, MIX WELL AND SERVE BY GARNISHING SEV OR MIXTURE
