Moth bean is called as matki or mat also its consumed all over India in different ways ,I use to make sabzi or in usal it can also used in breakfast , here I have given combination of peanuts and moth beans , I have made it dry sabzi so can be carried in tiffin easily friends do try this and give healthy food to your family

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1Bowl moth bean soaked overnight
  2. Handful of peanuts soaked
  3. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Dry corriander powder 1tsp
  6. 1/2Tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1/2Tsp garam masala powder
  8. 1/2Tsp dry mango powder
  9. Oil 1tsp
  10. Some curry leaves
  11. 1Tsp of cummin seeds
  12. 1/2Tsp of mustard seeds

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1BOWL MOTH BEAN AND HANDFUL OF PEANUTS OVERNIGHT
  2. ADD 1TSP OIL TO PAN
  3. ADD 1TSP CUMMIN SEED AND 1/2TSP OF MUSTARD SEEDS TO OIL
  4. ADD SOME CURRY LEAVES TO OIL
  5. ADD 1TSP RED CHILLI POWDER AND MOTH TO OIL
  6. ADD 2 TSP OF DRY CORRIANDER POWDER AND 1/2 TSP OF TURMERIC POWDER TO MOTH
  7. STIR IT
  8. CLOSE THE PAN WITH LID
  9. AFTER 10 MINUTES OPEN LID AND ADD SALT TO TASTE AND 1/2 TSP OF GARAM MASALA
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP OF DRY MANGO POWDER
  11. CHECK WHETHER MOTH BEAN IS COOKED PROPERLY
  12. ITS READY TO PACK FOR TIFFIN
  13. SERVE WITH ROTI
