Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup vermicelli
  2. 1 onion, finely chopped
  3. 1 Tomato, thinly sliced
  4. 2 green chilies
  5. 1 tsp chopped ginger
  6. 6-7 curry leaves
  7. 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, beans and peas)
  8. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  10. 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  11. 1 tsp ghee
  12. 1 tbsp oil
  13. 3 tbsp coriander leaves
  14. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 1/2 tsp urad dal

Instructions

  1. ROAST 1 CUP VERMICELLI IN 1 TSP GHEE, KEEP IT ASIDE
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF MUSTARD SEEDS & URAD DAL IN 1 TBSP HOT OIL
  3. ADD 2 GREEN CHILIES, 1 TSP GINGER & CHOPPED ONION, SAUTE TILL TRANSLUCENT
  4. ADD CHOPPED TOMATO AND CURRY LEAVES
  5. ADD 1/2 CUP MIXED VEGETABLES
  6. ADD 2 CUPS HOT WATER, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC & RED CHILI POWDER
  7. ADD 1/4 TSP GARAM MASALA , ROASTED VERMICELLI, MIX WELL. COVER & COOK FOR 7 MINS
  8. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND DASH OF LEMON JUICE. MIX WELL. SERVE HOT
