A super healthy easy Upma for kids . This recipe was shared by one of my fb friend .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Almonds soaked in water for 15 minutes 150 grams
  2. Salt as taste
  3. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  4. Onion 1 chopped
  5. Green chillies slit 1
  6. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Urad Dal 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Curry leaves 7
  9. Water / milk 1/2 glass to cook the Upma .

Instructions

  1. Peel the skin of the soaked almonds . Drain the almonds.
  2. Powder into almond powder coarsely .
  3. In a wok , heat ghee .
  4. Splutter mustard seeds .
  5. Add urad dal, chillies , curry leaves .
  6. Add onions and sauté for few minutes .
  7. Then add the almond powder and fry for few minutes .
  8. Add salt .
  9. Add milk / water and cook as per your desired consistency .
  10. Serve warm .
