Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tomatoes big 3
  2. Onion big 1 sliced
  3. Garlic cloves 4
  4. Water for boiling
  5. Oil 3 to 4 tablespoons
  6. Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Fennel seeds pinch
  8. Curry leaves a sprig
  9. Dried red chillies 3
  10. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  13. Garam Masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Salt 1.5 teaspoon
  15. Large boiled eggs 3

Instructions

  1. Boil 3 big tomatoes , 1 big onion sliced , 4 garlic cloves in water until tomatoes skin shrink .
  2. When tomatoes shrink , switch off the heat . Peel off the tomatoes skin .
  3. Blend blanched tomatoes along with onion and garlic to a smooth purée . Transfer to a hot wok .
  4. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder .
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder.
  6. Add 1.5 teaspoon salt .
  7. Add 1 tablespoon red chilli powder .
  8. Add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder.Allow to boil for 3 minutes .
  9. In a pan, fry 3 boiled eggs in 3 tablespoons oil .
  10. In the same pan , in the remaining oil , do Tadka with mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon,red chillies 3,
  11. Fennel seeds pinch , curry leaves a sprig . Now transfer the fried eggs to the simmering gravy.
  12. Pour the tadka contents along with the oil .
  13. Simmer and cook the curry for2 minutes .
  14. Tamatar ka kut ready to serve .
