Soak the Kabuli Channa Overnight.
Pressure cook the soaked channa for 3-4 whistles.
Make a coarse paste of ginger, garlic and green chilli.
In a kadai add oil.
Add mustard seeds and Jeera, when they splutter add the Asafoetida, curry leaves and red chilli.
Next add channa dal and urad dal. Fry.
Now add the ginger, garlic, green chilli paste and fry till the raw smell goes. Add Turmeric and mix.
Now add the cooked channa to the Tadka, add salt to taste and mix.
Now add the chopped Coriander and fresh coconut.
Finally add the lemon juice and serve hot.
Kabuli channa usali is ready to be served.
