ABOUT Kondakadalai Sundal/Kabuli chana Sundal RECIPE

A famous street food from South which is a must made during Hindu festivals. Easy to make too. What else can be asked for! !

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup of Kabuli chana (soaked overnight)boiled
  2. 1tbsp coconut oil
  3. 2Tsp Mustard seeds
  4. 1 pinch asafoetida powder
  5. curry leaves
  6. Salt
  7. 1/4tsp Turmeric powder
  8. Red chillies 2-3
  9. Grated coconut 1/4cup
  10. Chopped coriander to garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the soaked the chana with salt and turmeric powder. In a wok add oil and put mustard seeds to splutter
  2. Put asafoetida powder, curry leaves and red chillies
  3. Add the boiled chana to this and some more salt as per taste
  4. Stir and add grated coconut and give it a good stir
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
