Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kabuli channa 2 cups
  2. Soya chunks 1 cup
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Onions 1 big
  5. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  6. Green chillies 4 nos
  7. Coriander powder 1 tblspn
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Coriander leaves 2 tsp
  10. Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  11. Lime juice 2 tsp
  12. Bread pieces 2 nos

Instructions

  1. Boil channa after soaking it in water for 1 hour and let it cool.
  2. Soak soya chunks for 20 mins in water.
  3. In wok, put some oil, add cumin seeds and let it splutter and later on add onions and green chillies.
  4. Add garlic, turmeric powder, coriander powder and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Let this mixture cool and then grind it along with boiled channa and soya. Add salt while grinding.
  6. Add chopped coriander leaves to this mixture.
  7. Dip 2 pieces of bread in water, squeeze and add this to mixture. Later squeeze half lime in this.
  8. Divide this mixture in equal balls and pat it on your palm to give it a shape of cutlet.
  9. Shallow fry this cutlet and serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
