A popular vietnamese treat. This steamed rice cakes r sweet & soft.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour 1 1/2 cups
  2. Plain flour 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar 1/4 to 1/2 cup . according to taste
  4. Coconut milk 1/2 cup
  5. Water 1/2 cup
  6. Veg oil 1/4 cup
  7. Yeast 1 1/2 tsp dissolve in 1 tsp of sugar & 3 tbsp of warm water.

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients one by one, without any lumps.
  2. Keep the batter for 4 hrs.
  3. Take muffin moulds .Grease it. Pour about 3/4 , In each. Or take a big pan & steam as one full cake.
  4. Steam for 20 to 25 min or till a tooth pick comes out clean.
