ABOUT Vietnamese Egg Coffee RECIPE

Eggs in coffee?? Sounds strange, but this coffee is exotic. This is apt for folks addicted to strong coffee. Traditionally made with strong Vietnamese coffee, this recipe can be made using any of your favourite instant coffee

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For 2 servings:
  2. 3 eggs
  3. 3 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  5. 2 tablespoon coffee
  6. 1.5 cups of water
  7. A pinch of unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee by combining it with water over medium-Low heat
  2. Transfer in glasses/cups when the liquor is ready(dividing equally in 2 glasses)
  3. keep the glass in a bowl of hot water carefully, so the coffee remains hot until served
  4. in a bowl separate egg yolks from the whites
  5. now add the condensed milk and vanilla to the yolks
  6. use an electric beater(preferably) to beat/whisk until thick and frothy
  7. now transfer the beaten eggs to the coffee resting
  8. sprinkle some cocoa powder on top(optional)
  9. serve hot. enjoy!!
