Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Chaat: 1/2 Cup Yellow Moong Dal,
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1/2 cup grated carrot
  4. 1/2 cup pomegranate
  5. 1/2 cup chopped spring onions
  6. 1/4 cup chopped raw mangoes
  7. 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
  8. 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  9. 2 tbsp chopped green chillies
  10. 1 tsp chaat masala
  11. 4 tsp lemon juice
  12. For Potato Katories:
  13. 250g potatoes
  14. 1 tbsp corn starch

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash and soak the moong dal in enough water for 1/2 hour and drain well. Combine 3 cups of water,moong dal and salt in a deep non-stick pan and cook it on a medium flame till it is half done.Ensure that each grain of dal is separate.
  2. Strain the daal using a strainer and keep aside to daal for 10 mins. Combine all the ingredients, including the moong daal,in a large bowl and toss well.
  3. Grated potatoes and squeeze water.Now add corn Starch and mix well. now take baking tray and grease it with oil. spread potatoes in all sides like katori. and bake them in microwave at 180 for 15-20 mins. ts ready to serve.
  4. Now fill the katories with Chaat and serve Straight away.
