Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pidi Karunai kilangu : 6
  2. Garlic  : 10
  3. Small onion : 5
  4. Tomato : 1
  5. Sesame Oil : 4 tsp
  6. Fenugreek : ½ tsp
  7. Chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. Coriander powder : 1 tsp
  9. Tamarind : small size
  10. Mustard seeds: ½ tsp
  11. Curry leaves
  12. For coconut paste
  13. Grated Coconut 4 tsp
  14. Small onion : 3

Instructions

  1. Peel the skin of yam and slice it
  2. Heat oil in a pan, saute Mustard seeds, curry leaves and fenugreek for 2 mins.
  3. Add small onion, garlic and sliced yam and saute for 5 min.
  4. Add chilli powder, coriander powder and saute for 1 mind
  5. Add tamarind water, required water, salt and cook for 15 min.
  6. Add coconut paste and cook for 2 min.
