Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mutton 300 gms.
  2. Mustard oil 12 tbsp.
  3. Bay leaf 2.
  4. Turmeric powder 2 tbsp.
  5. Red chilli powder 4 tbsp.
  6. Cinnamon stick 1.
  7. Cardamom 5.
  8. Cloves 2.
  9. Onion 3 chopped.
  10. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  11. Tomato 2 chopped.
  12. Potato 2 quartered.
  13. Garam masala 1 tbsp.
  14. Ghee 4 tbsp.
  15. Salt as needed.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a cooker.
  2. Add Bay leaf ,cinnamon, cardamom, clove .
  3. Add onion & ginger garlic paste .
  4. Saute it.
  5. Add tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder , red chilli powder & cook for 2 minutes or in till the oil separates.
  6. Add mutton , potatoes & 1 cup of water in it.
  7. Put the lid of the cooker on.
  8. Cook on medium flame for 30 minutes.
  9. After releasing the pressure , open the lid.
  10. Add garam masala, ghee in it & simmer for 5 minutes more.
  11. Serve hot with rice / rooti.
