ABOUT Jaggery laddoo RECIPE

My childhood favourite again, healthy atta and jaggery laddoos with taste of fennel and coconut.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 250 gm wheat flour
  2. 200 gm jaggery
  3. 75 gm ghee
  4. 2 tbsp dried coconut
  5. 1 tsp fennel seeds
  6. 1 tsp poppy seeds or khas khas
  7. water, as required

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a wok.
  2. Roast the flour on low flame.
  3. In another pan, add jaggery and adequate water and mix it jaggery melts.
  4. When flour gets roasted well, add chopped dried coconut, fennel seeds and khas khas to it.
  5. Switch off the gas and add the jaggery water to it and mix well.
  6. cover it for 3-4 mins and keep.
  7. Then shape into laddoos.
