ABOUT Peanut Jaggery Laddus... RECIPE

An easy 3 ingredient instant laddu recipe that is full of protiens and iron. Perfect snack idea for the pregnant ladies and the elderly. These are soft melt in mouth laddus that can be enjoyed after meals as a dessert or as an evening snack too. It is even a best idea for brunch. Healthy and delicious both at the same time. Kids will love to munch on them at any given time.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Peanuts 1 cup
  2. Jaggery grated or powdered 1/3rd cup
  3. Cardamom powder 1/4th tsp
  4. Cashews chopped 8 to 10

Instructions

  1. First of all roast all the peanuts well until the raw smell fades away.
  2. They should be roasted well otherwise the laddus will not taste good.
  3. Next comes the part of removing their skin.
  4. Rub them in between your palms and using a large perforated sieve, remove the husk.
  5. Add these peanuts without their skin into a mixer jar along with the jaggery and cardamom powder.
  6. Grind them in turns and not all at once.
  7. This grinding will help release oil from them and this is what helps in binding the laddus well.
  8. Use the pulse option if available in the mixer.
  9. Remove this mix onto a plate and shape into laddus of preferable size.
  10. Do not forget to add in chopped cashews before shaping into laddus.
  11. These can be stored in airtight containers and stays good upto 15 days if refrigerated.
