This is a very healthy and diabetic friendly curry which serves as a perfect side dish with rotis.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cup onion cut
  2. 2 cup bittergourd deseeds and cut
  3. 2 tsp oil
  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 2 tsp chilly powder
  6. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  7. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Karela and a little salt in deep bowl. and mix very well keep aside for 20 minutes
  2. Squeeze all the water.dry them completely.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan.Add the onion and saute on a medium flame.
  4. Add the karela,mix well. And cover and cook on a slow flame for 15 minutes.while stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the turmeric powder, chilly powder,and salt mix well stirring occasionally.
