ABOUT Jhinga Aaloo Thai RECIPE

Dont worry about the title as this has Mughlai and thai flavour.Made with thai spices coconut,lemon grass added the flavour coats the potatoes too.To end it all add garam masala,giving mughlai touch.Do it this way you'd sure enjoy a healthy dish with plain steamed Rice.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 2 pieces jumbo prawns
  2. 1 big tomato
  3. 1 small onion
  4. 1 medium potato
  5. 1 tblspn ginger garlic paste
  6. 1 twig of lemon grass
  7. Basil leaves
  8. 1 lemon
  9. 1/2 cup coconut powder
  10. 1/2 tspn corriander powder
  11. 1 tspn red thai paste
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1/2 tspn garam masala

Instructions

  1. Wash clean Jhinga ,keep aside
  2. Peel cut potato small
  3. Grate tomato
  4. Brown onion chopped 2 tspn oil
  5. Add the lemon juice ,lemon grass red chilli thai paste and basil
  6. Add tomatoes grated
  7. Add all spices now
  8. Add salt ,potatoes pieces and prawns
  9. Cover cook for ten minutes Check wen done and add coconut milk
  10. Stir well and cover for 5 minutes
  11. Remove in. A bowl
  12. Garnish with corriander now and serve with steamed rice
  13. Serve hot

It goes well with plain rice.
