Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 grm mixed sprouts (moong,matki,chawali,channa)
  2. 2 medium size onion
  3. 2 tsp dried grated coconut
  4. 1 tsp jeera
  5. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1/4 tsp hing powder
  7. 8 to 10 curry leaves(optional)
  8. 1 ginger and garlic paste
  9. 1/2 tsp green chilli paste
  10. 2 medium sized tomato chopped
  11. 1/2 tsp termeric powder
  12. 3/4 tsp corriender powder
  13. 1/4 tsp jeera powder
  14. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 3 tbsp oil for cooking
  17. 1/4 cup fresh corriender chopped
  18. For tempting,1/2 tsp garam masala
  19. 1 tsp kashmiri mirch powder
  20. For serving,1 cup farsan
  21. Onion chopped
  22. Lemon wedges
  23. Ladi pav

Instructions

  1. Take few drops of oil and heat it in a pan add onion when translusent in colour add dried coconut and stir it till slightly colour change,when colour change switch of gas, transfer it in mixer jar and make paste of it and keep aside it for next step.
  2. Now heat oil in pressure cooker add jeera,mustard,hing and curry leaves once at a time
  3. Add ginger garlic paste,after a minute add chilli paste and stir
  4. Add red chilli,turmeric,jeera and corriender powder,grind onion and coconut paste, and mix well and stir for 1 to 2 minutes
  5. Now add chopped tomato,salt and stir for 3 to 4 minutes till tomato become soft
  6. Now add mixed sprouts in it and stir for 2 to 3 minutes,add 2 cups of water and close the lid for 3 whistle
  7. When done,left it to remove gas
  8. For tempting,heat some oil in other pan add garam masala,kashmiri mirch powder in it when pleasant smell cones switch of gas and pour the hot tempting oil and some corriender leaves in pressure cooker mixture and immediately close the lid to lock the smell and taste
  9. Now missal pav is ready to serve,serve hot with ladi pav,sprinkle some farsan, chopped onion, fresh corriender and with lemon juice for more taste
