This is a traditional breakfast dish usually made in kerala & Tamil nadu, though the process of making differs a bit. it s made with rice flour , & coconut. it goes well with coconut chutney or with just sugar.
Heat a pan with 1 tbsp of oil . add mustard seeds. & jeera.
then add chopped onion, chillies & curry leaves. fry for sometime.
add 2 cups of water & salt. let it boil.
when it s boiling add the coconut & rice flour . stir well without any lumps.
remove from fire . let it cool .apply some oil on hands & make a smooth dough.
make small balls. steam in a steamer for 5 min.
serve hot with chutney.
