ABOUT paneer tikka masala RECIPE

It's a vegitable dish and serve with butter naan or tandori roti.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. paneer 500gm
  2. capsicum(J.C.) 2 medium size
  3. Oil 4 tablespoon
  4. butter 1 tablespoon
  5. For marination :-
  6. yogurt curd 1cup
  7. Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  8. Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  9. lal mirch 2 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  11. Lemon juice 2 tablespoon
  12. salt A.T.T.
  13. musturd oil 2 tablespoon
  14. For gravy :-
  15. Oil 3 tablespoon
  16. Zeera 1 teaspoon
  17. Onion 4
  18. garlic chopped 7 to 8 cloves
  19. Ginger Garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  20. Tomato chopped 3
  21. salt ATT
  22. Tomato puree 1/4 cup
  23. lal mirch 1 1/2 teaspoon
  24. haldi 1/4 teaspoon
  25. Dhania powder 1 teaspoon
  26. zeera powder 1 teaspoon
  27. hara dhania 1 tablespoon
  28. kasturi methi crushed 1 teaspoon
  29. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  30. cream 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. To make tikkas combine all the ingridents for marinade and mix well.
  2. Dip paneer cubes in the marinade and set aside to marinade for 1/2 hour and put in refrigrator.
  3. Thread the paneer into skewes.
  4. Heat oil into tawa and place the sticks on it.
  5. Cook turning the sticks a few times, so that the paneer cooks from all the sides and put paneer aside after done.
  6. for gravy :-
  7. Heat the oil in the kadai and add zeera.
  8. when the color of zeera change add onion and cook till brown.
  9. Then put garlic and saute till lightly brown.
  10. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1min.
  11. Add tomato and salt and cover the kadai on low flame cook till the tomatos gets soft.
  12. Add tomato puree, lal mirch, haldi, dhania powder, zeera powder, and 1/2 cup of water.
  13. Cook for 3 to 4 mins on medium flame or till the oil sperates.
  14. Garnish with hara dhania, kastori methi, garam masala and cream.
