Pre - heat a pan, and add moong dal saute for 2 - 3 min over medium flame and keep aside.
Wash the rice and dal and soak for 15 mins
In a pressure cooker add rice , dal, salt and 3 cup water ( you can add your own veggies ) and cook for 15 min over medium flame.
Heat 3 tbs Ghee and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Let them crackle for a minute and add curry leaves, pepper corn, cashews, grated ginger and saute for 1 minute.
Add the above mixture to kichadi (cooked rice + dal) and mix well.
Serve with coconut chutney
