ABOUT Garlic dal(Superfood) RECIPE

Garlic is a super food that lowers cholesterol in our body. Garlic dal with Potato is made in heaven combo. I prepare garlic dal when i have very less cooking time. My husband's favourite dal. Garlic helps to reduce cholesterol in our body. Whenever i feel bored of rasam and sambar. I prepare this dal. Its so delightful.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Moong dal 1/2 cup
  2. Turmeric Powder
  3. Salt
  4. Coriander leaves
  5. For Seasoning
  6. oil
  7. Jeera
  8. green chillies 3
  9. Garlic 2-3 bulbs
  10. curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Cook 1/2 cup Moong dal with turmeric powder
  2. Add oil in kadai. Add Jeera. Add Garlic cloves. Saute for 2 minutes. Donot burn. Add green chillies and curry leaves. Saute
  3. Add tadka to cooking dal. Add handful of Coriander leaves. Add required water.
  4. Close with a lid and cook for 10 minutes. Serve hot with Rice or Roti
