Green rolls is a quick & easy vegetarian roll made with spinech & green peas

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3/4 cup crushed green peas
  2. 2 tsp oil
  3. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  4. Pinch of hing
  5. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  6. 1 tsp garam masala
  7. 1 tsp Sugar
  8. 1 tbsp ginger- green chili paste
  9. 100 gm Paneer, grated
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for deep frying
  12. For batter ingredients :-
  13. 100 gm gram flour
  14. 100 gm spinach
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 1/4 tsp turmeric
  17. For serving :-
  18. 1 tsp Chaat masala

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a pan . Splutter cumin seeds, hing.
  2. Add crushed green peas paste and saute over medium heat for 1 to 2 min
  3. Add ginger- green chili paste,lemon juice,garam masala, sugar and salt.Mix well
  4. Saute over medium heat for 1 minute.Switch off
  5. Add paneer to mixture and mix well
  6. Let mixture cool completely
  7. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape like rolls
  8. Blanch spinach and blend to smooth puree. Add little water and mix well
  9. Combine gram flour , spinach puree,salt , turmeric in deep bowl and mix well to form thick batter
  10. Dip the rolls in the prepared batter
  11. Drop the rolls in hot oil and deep fry over medium heat until golden brown
  12. Drain excess oil on absorbent paper
  13. Sprinkle Chaat masala on rolls
  14. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
