ABOUT Green Tuver Pulav RECIPE

Winter special pulav made from fresh green tuver , green garlic, some vegetables and spices. Very healthy and delicious for everyone. Quick and easy recipe for learner.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Basmati rice 150 grams
  2. Water 2 glass
  3. Potato 1 , diced
  4. Onion 2 , diced
  5. Fresh green tuver 250 grams
  6. Green garlic chopped 100 grams
  7. Green chili chopped 2
  8. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/2 cup
  9. Ghee 3-4 tbsp
  10. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  11. Rai 1/4 tsp
  12. Cloves 2-3
  13. Dry red chili 2
  14. Cinnamon 1 stick
  15. Hing 1/2 tsp
  16. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  17. Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp
  18. Salt as per taste
  19. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  20. Water 2 glass approx
  21. For Garnish :-
  22. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  23. Fresh green garlic chopped 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak basmati rice in 2 glass water for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 3-4 tbsp ghee in cooker.Add rai, jeera, dry red chili, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. When it start tempering, add onion and cook for 3-4 minute.
  4. Now add hing and turmeric powder. Mix well
  5. Add green garlic, green chili, green tuver and mix well.
  6. Add diced potatoes, kashmiri red chili powder, salt and mix well.
  7. Now drain extra water from rice. Add rice to cooker and mix well
  8. Add 2 glass of water and mix again.
  9. Add 1/2 tsp garam masala , coriander leaves and mix well.
  10. Pressure cook rice for 3 whistles over medium flame.
  11. Once steam is released, gently mix pulav
  12. Sprinkle green garlic and coriander leaves.
  13. Delicious green tuver pulav is ready to serve. Serve hot with buttermilk, chili pickle, onion and ghee
