Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Green peas (tuver) 250 gms
  2. Green garlic 1/2 cup
  3. Ginger-green chilli paste 1tbsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder 2 tsp
  7. Cumin coriander powder 2 tsp
  8. Fresh coriander finely chopped
  9. Lemon juice 1tbsp
  10. Sugar 1 tsp
  11. Carom seeds 1 tsp
  12. Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  13. Wheat flour coarsely grinded 200 gms
  14. Methi leaves (fenugreek leaves) 150 gms
  15. Curd 2 tbsp
  16. Oil 5 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a cooker,add carom seeds,asafoetida and green peas.
  2. Add green garlic , ginger green chilli paste and fresh coriander leave.
  3. Add all dry spices and 1 glass water and let it boil.
  4. Meanwhile make a dough for dhokli.take wheat flour,methi leaves and oil.mix it well.
  5. Add all dry spices and curd and mix it.
  6. Add water as required and knead smooth and soft dough.
  7. Make small balls from the dough.
  8. Give round shape and add them to boiling water.
  9. Add sugar and lemon juice.
  10. Now pressure cook it for 1-2 whistle.
  11. Let it cool down.
  12. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and drizzle some oil on it and serve hot.
