Fresh green peas ground with ginger to make a sumptuous parantha filling
Looks so scrumptious!
Wash green peas and grind them with ginger and green chilli. Use very little water if, required.
Take a pan and add the green peas-ginger mixture in it. On low heat, cook this mixture till it comes together like a dough. Keep stirring all the time. Add salt.
Take whole wheat flour in a bowl and add water little by little to knead to a soft dough. Let it rest for some time.
Pinch a little of the dough, size of a lemon. Half this dough and make 2 small rotis with it. On one roti spread the green peas mixture evenly.
Cover with the other roti and roll again with the rolling pin. Heat a tawa and put the parantha on it. Cook little on both sides and then use ghee on both sides to cook it.
Serve with curd, dal or sabzi
