ABOUT Pesarratu ( Green Gram Dosa) RECIPE

A flavourful protein rich Dosa.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Green Moong Dal
  2. 1/4 cup rice flour
  3. 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  4. 3-4 green chillies
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 2-3 cloves garlic ( optional)
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Ghee/ oil for cooking
  9. 1”pc ginger

Instructions

  1. Soak the Moong Dal for 3 hours or more
  2. Drain and grind to a fine paste with the rest of the ingredients reserving the rice flour
  3. Mix in the rice flour
  4. Add a little water and make it into a Dosa batter consistency
  5. Heat a skillet oil lightly
  6. Pour a ladle full of the batter in the centre . Swiftly spread the batter outward into a circle
  7. Drizzle some oil/ ghee around the Dosa.
  8. As it starts browning from the underside . Lift the Dias and flip. Let it cook.
  9. Enjoy with a chutney of your choice
