ABOUT Two Layered Chocolate Burfi RECIPE

Everyone LOVE chocolate and this is my way to serve healthy mawa to my kids ... In any season ..

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For white Layer
  2. Mawa (khoyea) 200 grm grated (1 cup)
  3. Sugar powder 70 gram (1/3 cup)
  4. Ghee 2 teaspoon
  5. Cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. For chocolate Layer
  7. Mawa(knifes) 200 gram (1 cup) grated
  8. Sugar powder 70 gram(1/3 cup)
  9. Ghee 2 teaspoon
  10. Cocoa powder 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Steps for white Layer
  2. Heat ghee into a heavy bottom pan on low flame .
  3. Add mawa + powder sugar .
  4. Mix well till the sugar melts .... Stir occasionally.
  5. Roast some more 5 minutes . Stirr occasionally otherwise mawa would be stick on the bottom of pan
  6. When mawa change sm colour nd become thick then add cardamom powder nd mix well nd off the gass.
  7. Transfer roasted mawa into greased tray nd make smooth from top by greased spoon .
  8. Let it cool for 15minutes .
  9. Now making chocolatey Layer
  10. Heat again ghee into a heavy bottom pan on low flame .
  11. Add mawa + powder sugar + cocoa powder
  12. Mix well till the sugar melts .... Stir occasionally.
  13. Roast some more 5 minutes . Stirr occasionally otherwise mawa would be stick on the bottom of pan .
  14. When mawa become thick then, off the gass.
  15. Transfer roasted chocolate layer on the mawa white layer.
  16. And spread with greased spoon and make smooth from top.
  17. Let it cool for half an hour .
  18. After half an hour cut it into desired shape. Nd garnishing with any sprinkles or dry fruits....
  19. Two Layer Chocolate Burfi is ready.
