ABOUT Garmagaram Dalwada RECIPE

An all time monsoon snack relished by all, young and old.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups hari moong dal
  2. 2 tblsp green chilli & ginger paste
  3. Salt to taste
  4. oil to fry
  5. Green chillies & onion slices to serve
  6. A pinch of soda bi-carb

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak moong dal overnight or at least 6 hours
  2. Grind coarsely without water
  3. Add salt, green chilli & ginger paste & a pinch of soda bi-carb
  4. Heat oil and deep fry the vadas
  5. Serve hot with fried chillies and onion slices
