Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for chana dal tadka
  2. 1 cup chana dal
  3. 2 onions chopped 2 tomatoes chopped
  4. 1 tbsp ghee 1 small ginger diced
  5. 6-7 cloves garlic 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 2 green chilli chopped 1 dry red chilli
  7. 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp dhaniya masala
  9. 2 glass water Lemon juice according to ur taste
  10. Ingredients for paneer Bhurjee
  11. 200 GMs paneer grated 2 chopped onions
  12. 2 chopped tomatoes Ginger cut into small pieces
  13. 4-5 cloves garlic 1/2 bowl milk
  14. 1 tbsp ghee 2 green chilli chopped
  15. 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  16. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Some coriander leaves
  17. Ingredients for choori
  18. 1 thick roti 5 tsp sugar
  19. 1 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. Washed and presoaked dal for about 1/2 hour in warm water. Then added dal in pressure cooker by adding salt and turmeric powder and allow it to boil for about 15-20 minutes with same water.
  2. Open the cooker and check it.. if needed u can add more water till it becomes soft and cooked but not completely mushy.
  3. Now take ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds to crackle.Then sauté onions till they r cooked little pink. Then add garlic and ginger till beautiful aroma spreads all over.
  4. Add green chilli and all dry spices and mix the tadka well in boiled dal.At the top u can add crackling cumin seeds and dry red chilli also sautéed in ghee to enhance the taste and flavour...
  5. So aromatic and delicious chana dal is ready to be served...
  6. for paneer Bhurjee
  7. Take a pan. Add ghee. Then add garlic cloves to sauté. Such a pleasant aroma will spread all over.
  8. Now add onions to sauté till turns pink. Then add ginger and chopped tomatoes.
  9. Keep on stirring them for a while and then add green chilli followed by milk.
  10. Add grated paneer.Paneer will become more soft and moisture Rich and turns out yum.
  11. Add all dry spices and garnish with coriander leaves...
  12. Enjoy this combination with chana dal tadka and missi roti and paneer Bhurjee...
  13. for choori
  14. Take a bowl. Add thick garam roti. Crumble it with hands or break into small pieces with hands .
  15. Add ghee and sugar in it and keep on mashing it with hands till all the sugar and ghee is mixed well.
  16. Yummylicious punjabi choori is ready to be served... Enjoy endlessly...
