Ingredients: for poories--- beetroot 1( medium); Water 2 cups; Refined flour 2 cups; salt one teaspoon; carom seeds one teaspoon; Oil as required; for palak paneer---- paneer 200 gram; spinach puree 200 gram(blanch and make paste); whole Garam Masala( cardamom, cloves and cinnamon sticks) per 2; dried Kashmiri Chilli 2; Bay leaf 1; Ginger paste 2 teaspoons; tomato paste half cup; Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon; Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon; Turmeric powder half teaspoon; Cashew paste 2 tablespoons; kasuri Methi (crushed) one teaspoon; Fresh cream 3 teaspoons; salt as per taste; Oil as required

Water 2 cups

salt one teaspoon

for palak paneer---- paneer 200 gram
spinach puree 200 gram(blanch and make paste)

Bay leaf 1
Ginger paste 2 teaspoons
tomato paste half cup
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder half teaspoon
Cashew paste 2 tablespoons
kasuri Methi (crushed) one teaspoon
Fresh cream 3 teaspoons
salt as per taste
Oil as required

Instructions

cut the beetroot into small pieces
boil them with two cups of water until soft(don't throw the water)
blend them and make a smooth paste
take the flour in a bowl
add salt, beetroot paste, carom seeds,1teaspoon oil and mix well
now add little amount of beetroot boiled water at a time and knead a firm dough
add 1 tea spoon of oil on the top, cover and rest it
meanwhile make the palak paneer
heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok
Fry the paneer till Golden, keep aside
now heat one tablespoon of oil, add Garam Masala, bay leaf, Kashmiri red chilli to it and fry for a few seconds(low flame)
now add ginger paste and fry
Add tomato paste and cook for 2 to 3 minutes in low flame
now add spinach purée, salt, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well
now add cashew paste and combine well
add fried paneer , kasuri methi and 2 teaspoons of fresh cream
it's ready to serve
Garnish it with remaining fresh cream
now divide the dough into equal parts
heat sufficient amount of oil in wok
make poories and fry
serve hot with palak paneer
